Zero-Shot Information Extraction as a Unified Text-to-Triple Translation (2021.emnlp-main)

Copied to clipboard

Challenge: a number of information extraction tasks require task-specific training.
Approach: They propose a text-to-triple translation framework for information extraction tasks . they propose enabling task-agnostic translation by leveraging latent knowledge of a pre-trained language model .
Outcome: The proposed framework outperforms the existing methods on open information extraction tasks.
Language Model is Suitable for Correction of Handwritten Mathematical Expressions Recognition (2023.emnlp-main)

Copied to clipboard

Challenge: Existing approaches to handwritten mathematical expression recognition are limited by CFGs and pre-generated triplet data.
Approach: They propose an architecture that integrates recognition and language features to output corrected sequences while optimizing with a string decoder recognition model.
Outcome: The proposed architecture outperforms state-of-the-art methods on CROHME datasets.
Enhancing Online Recruitment with Category-Aware MoE and LLM-based Data Augmentation (2026.acl-industry)

Copied to clipboard

Challenge: Existing methods to measure the matching degree of a job and a candidate face several challenges, such as low-quality job descriptions and similar candidate-job pairs.
Approach: They propose a large language model-based method that polishes and rewrites low-quality job descriptions by leveraging chain-of-thought prompts and category-aware Mixture of Experts (MoE) module incorporates category embeddings to dynamically assign weights to the experts and learns more distinguishable patterns for similar candidate-job pairs.
Outcome: The proposed method surpasses existing methods by 2.40% in AUC and 7.46% in GAUC and boosts click-through conversion rate (CTCVR) by 19.4% in online tests, saving millions of CNY in external headhunting expenses.
DeepStruct: Pretraining of Language Models for Structure Prediction (2022.findings-acl)

Copied to clipboard

Challenge: Pretrained language models perform structural understanding tasks that focus on understanding one aspect of the text.
Approach: They propose a method for improving the structural understanding abilities of language models by pretraining them to generate structures from the text on task-agnostic corpora.
Outcome: The proposed model performs state-of-the-art on 21 of 28 datasets.
